Shielded caster :
I thought others were needing a second on this. I guess I should choose something else.

Howza bout this:

take leadership feat (present score 11, I think) where my cohort level is 7. My quest is to improve the social skills of this wandering soul and gain a griffon mount? When such a noble creature does grace him with companionship, the followers might be a few folk i9n the countryside who are willing to stable the griffon for free, and while being paid for it, will have horse meat available.

As his followers for now, they would be people who he will meet in the future in his search for a mount.

I had it but switched it out for combat casting when you temporarily bowed out. If you want to keep it I'll switch back. Gryphon mount would be cool too. I'm good either way.

Yurei is essentially complete. I want to stat up his typical attacks for ease of use but most everything else is ready. Still need to update his background with party connections, but again that won't keep him from being ready for action.

I bought him a wand of cure light wounds. If the group still wants to go in together on a more powerful wand I can contribute as I held some cash back for this. If not I'll likely buy a better cloak of resistance and a couple potions of cure moderate.

Not to rain on your parade, DeWar, but Leadership is not a feat that works well with PBP, because a henchman, mount, whatever, gives one PC multiple characters to control, giving him a greater share of the posts. That doesn't seem fair, to say nothing of the extensive headaches it causes for the DM. So, please, don't?

Scott DeWar, I respectfully submit a few suggestions for your level 7 combat feat:

1- Charge of the righteous: Perfect from role-playing standpoint for you. No AC penalty when charging undead or evil outsiders

2- Shield specialization: +2 AC vs criticals with one type of shield. Great if you mean to tank.

3- Vital strike: double weapon dice when doing a single attack (ie not a full attack). It does not include any bonuses, just gives an extra die.

But if you charge often, these will be single attacks!! For example: if charging with a lance and spirited charge, str 19, damage would be 4d8 + 12 (instead of 3d8 +12).

If you charge with the +2 longsword and spirited charge damage would be 3d8+12 (instead of 2d8+12).

Hope this helps!

Bladebound Magus

Lou, I am totally thrilled to have a Black Blade Bladebound Magus in the party! I've just been reading about them, and I'm going to have a blast!!

I'm interested to know Dontrius's goals and aspirations. All I can tell from his sheet is that he seeks secret, mystical knowledge to meld his blade with his arcane powers.
