Here's the current map again to refresh your memory. Note the pale blue secret trapdoor in the room with you. You only searched the walls, but I'm cutting you some slack.

Kerlan will cast Detect Secret Doors again. He will begin right next to the block, returning to the big room, checking the library and map rooms, then continuing back the way they came. The whole time he will be examining everything, the walls, floor, and ceiling included. If there are any tapestries on the walls or rugs on the floor he will move them aside to make sure there are no doors that are just "hidden" rather than secret.
Working through the pain, Kerlan stumbles onto something. "Aha! Look what I found. It's a secret trapdoor. Perfect." Kerlan opens the door and looks down into it.
 

The Vault of Larin Karr

OOC: For whatever reason, Kerlan did not find the secret door during his previous search. All he knows is that he sees it now.

IC: Peering down into the blackness below him, Kerlan sees .... darkness, but with a feeling of openness about it, somehow. He is almost sure that there is an open space down there, although he can presently see no defining feature of the space. [Perhaps some light would help?]
 


The Vault of Larin Karr

Estimating the apparent size of the dropped coin, Tylara guesses that the space below her is approximately ten feet down. Also apparrently, it is a passagway extending to the south to the limits of your light. No occupants or other features are evident.

Kerlan casts Dancing Lights and sends them down the hole. If all looks clear he pokes his head down and moves the lights down the hall until he sees the end, checking for anything unusual.
 

"A bit of caution is in order after the Golem we found in the last hole and the trap." She nods in the direction of poor Manny and says nothing else.
 


"That's why I sent the lights down instead of just jumping into a dark hole. I don't see anything unusual so now we just need to check for traps." Gritting his teeth, he drops down the now lit hole. Hitting the bottom, he holds his breath for something to happen. If nothing does he lets out a sigh of relief. He then begins checking the immediate area for traps.

OOC: Kerlan will search the first 20' for traps. Enough to let the others come down before proceeding. Taking 10 if possible, Perception +12 vs traps.
