searching for traps

Kerlan's searches: Search checks (1d20+12=27, 1d20+12=21, 1d20+12=25, 1d20+12=29, 1d20+12=27, 1d20+12=30, 1d20+12=21, 1d20+12=26, 1d20+12=29, 1d20+12=14)

Capizzio's searches: 1. 1d20+13=29 2. 1d20+13=16 3. 1d20+13=18 4. 1d20+13=18 5. 1d20+13=26 6. 1d20+13=27 7. 1d20+13=28 8. 1d20+13=21
9. 1d20+13=26 10. 1d20+13=22

OOC: I'm beginning the searches in BG-BH, 53-54, one check per 10' x 10' square.

In the very first square, both find no trap, but a secret door instead, in BG 53. [ooc: I'm suspending all searches until I know for sure that the party will, in fact, be going down the obvious passage.]

OOC: I think we would check out the known before wandering down the secret door, verbally announcing it: search - search - search -"Secret door here" search - search - .. .. .. .. .. search -

The Vault of Larin Karr

Tylara's search does not reveal ant new information about the secret portal. In fact, she was only able to find the thing because somebody told her it was there, but she does find it. It seems like it opens like an ordinary door.

Capizzio and Kerlan find a trap as indicated on the map. It seems to be an arrow trap with the arrows fired from the west, near where Tylara is standing.

"Uh Tylara, don't touch anything. I found a trap that shoots arrows from over there by you."

[trap removal: +18. I am guessing you roll this one]

OOC: Yes, I'll roll it. Are you saying that Capizzio is going to attempt it? (You might actually say it next time...)
