The Vault of Larin Karr

The second secret door opens to reveal a passageway that extends both west and south. To the south, it leads some 20 feet before bending back to the east. To the west, it stretches thirty feet ahead of you where a flight of stairs rises into the gloom.

Kerlan looks to the south. "Just as I thought. It probably just bypasses the traps. Let's just keep going." When Cap is done disabling the trap, Kerlan continues to the west, taking the stairs, but searching for traps along the way.

After disabling the trap he follows Kerlin looking for traps behind his fellow wizard to ensure their chaces of findine one.

Capizzio manages to disable one trap, but then he decides to avoid the rest by using the secret passage. When you look to the south after going through the last secret door, you can just make out the edge of the stone block that fell on poor Manny blocking the passage. There are no traps in the passage to the west or on the stairs.
