Now determined to put an end to this threat as soon as possible, Manny and his friend renew their attack with savage ferocity. Manny's spear thrust misses it's intended target, as do Relós' flailing claw attacks; however, the Eidolon's bite pierces the Attercop's tender abdomen.

Spider B's saving throw vs. Kerlan's Many Jaws, DC 19: FAILURE! The mystical disembodied mechanical jaws appear and begin to gnash the legs from the spider's body! As the arachnid shrieks in pain, Capizzio's missiles of force smite it full in the head, extinguishing the light from its eyes! Battle Over!! Wizards=2,000, Spiders=0

"That was... was..." Simeon says speechless as he surveys the dead arachnids about him. "You all have truly remarkable powers. Come let us find this wizard who says he is not dead, he will soon be wishing he was."

Simoen takes the lead once more, but this time he gives the ceiling as much scrutiny as he does the walls and floor.

The wizards now find themselves in a cul-de-sac off the primary Underdark Passage they were following in search of the Vaut of Larin Karr. With them are the shriveling remains of two Huge Monstrous Spiders which they handily dispatched with a major quickness. Oh, and Francheska had evidently lagged behind a bit, but she has now caught up to the rest of the group.

Cappizzio just now realizes he has been bit as he gazes at the puncture wound .. .. .. ..
"oh no, not again." he whispers. dark tendrils of grayish red start spreading out from the wound and sweat starts forming on the human's brow.

OOC: Upon failing his save vs. the spider's venom, Capizzio suffers 1d8 Str damage! Ouch!! Kinda makes you want to abuse the arachnid's corpse, doesn't it?

The UnderDark cave is eerily silent as Capizzio stands trembling over the shriveling spider remains, and the webs above swing softly in some breeze that is unfelt below.

"I hate spiders" He looks up at the webbing above, just to make sure there are no more sneaking about.
