Let the speculation begin!

I put my cash on an Undead book, ala Draconomicon.

I'd love to see a fiend book, oh how would I love it to flesh out the details and differences between Baatezu, Tanar'ri, Yugoloth and Gehreleth, etc. However, I dare say that WotC could not, and may never, equal the level of brilliance that was the 2e Planescape 'Faces of Evil:The Fiends'. Single greatest supplement for any RPG system ever, in my none so humble opinion. I'm biased here. ;)

I loved the Draconomicon 3e, and if WotC does a similar undead book and keeps to the same level of quality I might change my mind on having them do something similar to an update on Faces of Evil. We'll see.

Well, "Draconomicon" does immediately bring to mind a "Necronomicon" - I'm not sure how frequently "-nomicon" is used for tomes, Necronomicon is the only time I've ever heard it. I don't know what's in the RL Necronomicon, and chances are, I probably don't want to, but it's still a perfect name for the next in the line of "-nomicon" D&D books. I'd probably buy it.

Gotta be the Necronomicon: Book of the Dead, a la the Draconomicon.

Which is great.
Give the man a cigar. Though the title is wrong. Due out in October penned by Andy Collins and Bruce R. Cordell.

"I'm sorry, but due to my NDA I cannot offer comment about that at this time."

Awesome.

Isn't the complete book of challenges sort of that? Not that it did very well.

Yes exactly. Since WOTC is now doing the Complete series of books that revamps many of the old splat book stuffs I'd imagine the'd do the same with many of their old softcovers.

They stil haven't done for 3.5 (and likely will):
Trap Book
Villain Book of NPCs (ala Modern and Star Wars books)
More of the "Complete" Series
Strongholds and Cities
A new Heroes Guidbook
Guide to Campaigns
etc... the list goes on and likely will for many years to come :p
