Well, "Draconomicon" does immediately bring to mind a "Necronomicon" - I'm not sure how frequently "-nomicon" is used for tomes, Necronomicon is the only time I've ever heard it. I don't know what's in the RL Necronomicon, and chances are, I probably don't want to, but it's still a perfect name for the next in the line of "-nomicon" D&D books. I'd probably buy it.

There is no RL Necronomicon, aside from a few fakes ones that wanted to make some easy money. H.P. Lovecraft created it in his fiction, and the Necronomicon itself is a frequently mentioned dire evil tome of eldritch cyclopean blasphemous daemonic lore penned by Abdul Alhazrad the Mad Arab who was devoured alive by invisible beasts in a square in Damascus. Etc etc ;)

Check out his fiction if you're not familiar with it. :D

Strictly speaking, there is a real life Necronomicon. Somewhere around here I have a paperback edition. Don't expect much to happen if you try any of the rituals, I'm not sure if the author had any experience with occult literature.
