Let's make a second dungeon

I know what you mean. Some artists make threads and ask "Who wants me to draw their characters". Someone comes up with a race, class, and gear, and they do it. I think it's cool. But then, they could come here, do a pic, and have it seen as the cover of an adventure distributed by CMG. I'm like you, I don't get it.

And it's not from lack of trying. Lord knows I've been posting in the arts forum, even created a thread with just that purpose. Al Palmer and Babette did answer the call with stuff they already had on hand, but that's it.

Ziltch. Ziltch I tell you.

Don't sweat it. Some folks who might want to contribute might also be busy with other projects. We'll build it and when they have time, they will come.

Well, the thing needs a cover, at least. I'll try to come up with something. I found a great one, it's too bad the artist doesn't respond.

Well Wren responded and said it was okay to use his Pic which I think would make a great cover. Tells you a little but not too much about the Dungeon. Seems we keep moving along, despite the speed bumps of life.

Oh this is good. I was thinking using the other one for cover, but if that's the only one we have, then we'll use this one.

I wanted to use Wren's for inner illustration, for the diviner of room 7.

Here's the pic I did last night for the cover of CD2. Took me 3 hours. I'm not satisfied with it, but at that point, I thought we didn't have any pic at all.

I know thta's what I thought for Wren's as well, But Its good enough and still fits for a cover. Not gonna find a lot of Halfling Vampires to put on the cover. Plus I don't usually care for modules that show the big bad on the cover. Tends to give to much away to players who may see it.

I like yours just don't know if it fits. I would even go for a Pic of a small child hiding under a shelf or something similiar.

I think we just may have to go with getting a few artirst to commit to us and help us out and let them get the glory for the art. Build a relationship with 1 or two and go from there. To bad were not making money on this.

Just for everyone else Pages 11-18 on CD-1 are going through final edit. Hopefully won't be to long now.

CD1 is coming along very well and is nearly completed as an initial PDF. I think it might be worth while to suggest some sort of editing help on CD2 before it gets to the stage of being built into a PDF form. To whit, I suggest, something on the order of each room creator taking a look over the room of the person one higher than their own and one lower than their own, just to give it a skim for accidental spelling errors, overlooked rules application (DC check numbers, HD and HP, etc.) The kinds of things that can easily elude the creator as they are transposing stats from one form to another. Would this be something we can do?

I'd be willing to do that. Heck, I'd proof read the whole thing if you wanted. If you need/want my help just email me a file. It may take a week or so but I'll get it done.
