So, will we ever get sci-fi/fantasy stories without excessive incredilbly stupid hollywood physics. I can handle implausible (and even some unbelievable) physics but I would like them to be internally consistant.

There no sound in space :] (well at least none I'd be able to hear).

Well, Firefly didn't have sound in space. 'Tis a pity they cancelled it... I just finished watching the last episode of the DVD box. :(

Yeah, Firefly was great. I've heard so many people (including my parents) say "This show is awesome! Why didn't I hear about it until after it was cancelled?"

Because this is the same network that cancelled Dark Angel as it was becoming good again, and Brisco County Jr, and Wonderfalls, and etc.

I hate Fox with a passion

Farscape was quite good too, and it was just getting kinda serious after goofing around for a while, when it was shot in the face by Sci-Fi Channel.

Buncha Hideous Corperate B@stards...

Well, I was taking more about movies and not television series - there have been more than a few TV series that try to not have incredibly stupid physics.

The SciFi channel cancelled Farscape on a cliffhanger, pulling the plug for no real reason AFAIK . . . but its been a while so I may just not remember.

The last show I was really bummed about was the cancellation of Brimstone.
As an aside - anyone know if the old TV series UFO is on DVD anywhere?

So, does your name count as a verb or something? And what would Morrus' stats be in d20 Modern?

New Rule: Every post must refer to the previous poster's avatar, so says Pierce. Because Eric is the Greatest American Hero.
