He made a guest appearance. So has Spawn, Heihachi, Eizo, 2B, Geralt, Kratos and Darth Vader and Yoda. So guests are wild as far as that goes.

Agreed. To this day, Soul Calibur is the template in my mind for what D&D-style martial classes should look like.
