Leveling too fast?

Y'know...

The new alignment rules are pretty lax in 4E. And death itself has been reduced to the equivalent of a bad hangover or something. I wonder how long it will take for players to start turning on each other at higher levels, just to hog the XP.

Warlock: "Man, that dragon took out all my dailies and most of my HP. I've got 3 HP left."
Rogue: "Same here...I'm out of healing surges and I'm at 5 HP."
Warlord: "Crap, I'm out of healing surges too, and I've only got 3 hp left. How about some healing, cleric?"
Cleric: "Sorry, but I'm unaligned." <flame strike>

It will take only 2 seconds less time than for the dm to say:

"Well....not really enjoying you in my game Mr. Cleric, bye bye."

10 encounters, considering skill challenges count as one, and that we got quest exp, still means that leveling may be too fast in my opinion.

Naturally. I'm just playing devil's advocate here, of course. My luck, it would be my wife who plays the cleric in the above example...

What if everyone was in on it, taking turns and everything? "Okay, quick huddle while the DM is in the bathroom. The rogue really needs to level, so let's all take a dive on the next big battle so that she can hog the XP. The rogue will front the gold to get us raised. Deal?"
