Looking to join a family-friendly old-school style game. 1st ed AD&D in Classic (A)D&D worlds: JG Wilderlands, Mystara, Midkemia, Blackmoor, Lankhmar, Oriental Adventures, Spelljammer, Dragonlance or Thieves World; possibly ported to BRP, Classic Fantasy or something similar. Chaosium's Runequest 2nd ed in Prax, Rogue Trader/Dark Heresy, WFRP 1st/2nd, Call of Cthulhu, a Tekumel game, Classic GDW Traveller, older editions of Gamma World/Metamorphosis Alpha, a Middle Earth game, old editions of Stormbringer/Hawkmoon/Corum, Fading Suns 2nd ed, LUG Dune, or WEG Star Wars d6.
Would love to find a G-rated game that my 10 yr old daughter would be able to join too, that's more than just combat. Interested in gaming/socializing. I used to play in a group where gamers brought spouses/etc, & kids. We had dinner, then played. Those not interested in playing hung out in another room, maybe watched a movie and socialized. Kids crashed. Spouses didn't feel neglected. We got families interested in gaming, and had a nice night to socialize with new friends. But I haven't replicated this yet. Unfortunately I can't host, my place is too small.
So? Get in touch if you'd like to try and set up a group like this! Thanks!
