LG vs. N: Lawful Good Victorious!

Whoops. Not quite, I forgot the flight speed is 60', not 30'.

That changes the movement as follows.
5' back to 65N20E0H (level flight) then
straight line level flight to 115N115E0H.

To give a little time compression, the vassal will then switch to javelin, stowing his flail.

BTW, I read the minimum forward speed, as "must take one move action (not MEA) per turn". Sound good?

It means you must move forward 30 feet every round, or land. I assume you landed in 115N115E, because you cannot turn around otherwise.

Round 79:

The spider runs to 110N110E. Stowing your flail would cause an AoO.

The vassal looks at the nearby spider and begins silently cursing in all the languages it knows. It can't get away from the oversized vermin! It can just barely stay ahead of it.

Desperate, the vassal flies straight up to 115N85E50H.
(Round+1) Confident it's out of range of the vermin, the vassal then stows its flail and moves to 115N25E50H.
(R+2) Able to take a breather and think, the vassal moves to 65N25E20H, drawing it's javelin. If the spider is within a 15' radius of 65N25E (i.e. within 30'), the vassal throws it's javelin at the beast.
(R+3) In what might be final stages of the battle, the vassal dives at the spider, readying it's flail during the dive, and attempts to smash the spider into chitinous bits.
(R+4) If that doesn't kill the spider, the vassal smashes the spider with its javelin, and tries to sting the spider.

==
That takes us to the draw point if everyone misses.

The spider takes an AoO when the vassal leaves the square 115N110E5Z.

Hit! (Rolled 16) 4 points of damage! The vassal drops!

Round 80: The spider CDG's the vassal for 3 more.

Next up for LG: a lantern archon! (MM)

Uh... <snip> F.I.D.O.

The lantern archon flies from 105N0E0H to 105N110E15Z (which should be very close directly over the spider), expecting the spider to cower before the power of axiomatic good (Aura of Menace). The following rounds, the archon moves (up to 60' in level flight, if needed) to bring the spider within 30' (if possible; that's a 15' radius on the ground from its coordinates.), and then blasts it with its light ray as many times as possible. Rinse and repeat. The spider can't hit it, so the only way this isn't a win is if the archon's a terrible shot.

Round 81: Missed.

Round 82: Hits for 2. Spider has 4 hp left.

Round 83: Misses.

Round 84: Hits twice for 5! Spider has -1 hp left.

Round 85: The spider is defeated! The archon is at 105N110E30Z.

Hundreds of 8 inch diameter, disk-shaped oozes, milky-white with a red dot in the center, slither over themselves to 105N115E.
