Rats. Oh, well, it was worth a try. :)

The plant flees in round 417 when it realizes it cannot hide. Radiance can breathe again in round 419.

A ten foot square carpet of thousands of black beetles, each beetle highlighted in pretty colors, skitters into the arena to 100N110E and burrows into the ground, disappearing completely.

"Oh well, now that pretty much sucks."

Radiance circles over the arena until 419, at which point she lands at 100N100E and readies a force breathe on the beetles, if they emerge.

What fun would the battle be without adversity?

Round 419: The beetles emerge at 100N100E. Radiance breathes, and the beetles dodge (rolled 23 Ref save), taking 24 points of force damage. The beetles have 103 HP remaining. Radiance can breathe again in round 421.
The beetles swarm all over Radiance. Radiance takes 16-5=11 points of damage from a multitude of bites. She manages to stomach all the beetles crawling all over her, due to her Great Fortitude (rolled 22 Fort save), but she cannot resist having her body dried out (natural 1 Fort save) for 5 points of Constitution damage. Radiance's Constitution is down to 12, and she has 57 HP.

OOC: You don't have to tell me about adversity. I've been having to deal with those @$!* rilmani. I did mean that IC, though. :)

"Con damage! Ouch! Oi!"

Radiance bites and then flies up and out of harm's way. She's having no more of that Con damage, though, so if the beetles go underground, she's thinking she's happy with a draw.

Ah, I did not see the quotes the first time. You have my sympathy for having to deal with the rilmani.

Round 520 (no one noticed that we lost 100 rounds somewhere): Radiance bites the beetles (rolled 35), and manages to kill a few, but there are still multitudes left.
The beetles go back underground.

Is "Draw" your final answer?

Hydras are about as annoying as swarms. You just got unlucky that you had one of the few swarms that could burrow.

A draw is declared after round 524.

First into the arena in round 525 for Lawful Good is the first CR 9 creature on the Lawful Good side. I wish I could tell you what it is, but I do not know. Gansk?
