Deva Thomas flies into the arena, his great sword already Flaming - He looks like the statue of david, with wings, and a modestly draped scarf and belt. Seeing no opponent he will cast Aid on himself.
(flies to 60n25e25z)

Round 525: Deva Thomas gains 14 temporary HP, so he now has 53 HP.
A gargantuan animal with two long, curving tusks, a long prehensile nose, grey hide, and bony plates armoring its great back stomps into the arena to 50N90E. It seems to be quite feral and agressive, but when it notices Deva Thomas, it seems to calm down, and looks uncertain.

Deva Thomas hesitates to exploit this advantage, as it seems unethical to attack an unresisting animal -
OOC: Is he sure that attacking animals will not break his soothing aura?

He will fly near its head (60n70e20z) and yell, hitting it with the flat of his flaming sword (strike to subdue@-4)

If the aura can be broken he will fly up and drop all his holy smites instead.

The aura cannot be broken by attacking, which is too bad for Neutral. I was looking forward to trampling and stamping on something.

Round 526: Deva Thomas hits (rolled 22-4=18 for subdual) for 9 nonlethal and 3 points of fire damage.
The elephant, hurt emotionally and confused, tries total defense.

Round 527: Deva Thomas hits it twice more to subdue.
The elephant realizes that his friend is turning against him and he cannot stop the beating, so he takes off for the Great White North. Deva Thomas is at 60N85E15Z, and has 53 HP.

Something comes out for Neutral. Stay tuned.

A large ivory monkey with fanlike wings comes into the arena to 30N30E and transforms into a whirlwind 30 feet tall and 20 feet wide at the top. Dave Thomas does not recognize it.

OOC: Yes, 30N90E. Someday we will all get the coordinate system right.

Round 528: Dave Thomas hits (rolled 28+2=30 for charge) for 11 slashing + 3 points of fire damage. The spirit has 79 HP remaining.
The whirlwind flies through DT to 30N30E. DT avoids getting buffeted by the winds (rolled 25 Ref save), although Dave is picked up by it (rolled 15 Ref save). Dave can attack from within the whirlwind and can make one escape attempt per round as a move action.
