Hey all,
I've had this sitting around for a while now, and I never got around to posting it. It's not complete; specifically, I don't have an 11th level path ability. I figured I'd post it anyway. The design behind the class is mostly a Controller/Striker hybrid, as I envisioned it as a Rogue/Wizard build. It would probably work well with Ranger, or with a class like Bard or Warlock, so I loosened the prereqs.
Arcane Trickster
Prerequisites: Ranger or Rogue, any Arcane class
Path Features
(11th level):
Trickster’s Action (11th level): Whenever you spend an action point to take an extra action, you may teleport a number of squares equal to your Intelligence modifier before the attack.
Arcane Sneakiness (16th level): Whenever you cast a spell against a target you have combat advantage against, you may add your Sneak Attack damage to the attack. This damage has the same keywords as the attack.
Arcane Trickster Exploits
Note: Where a power has the keywords for two different sources, any effect that targets either source will affect the power.
Teleport Storm Arcane Trickster Attack 11
You teleport in and out rapidly, striking enemies without warning.
Encounter * Martial, Arcane, Weapon, Teleport
Standard Action Close Burst 3
Target: One, two, or three targets within burst
Attack: Dexterity vs. AC
Hit: 1[W] + Dexterity modifier damage
Effect: Gain combat advantage against each target until the end of your turn, including for this attack. You teleport to a square within the burst.
Misplaced Affliction Arcane Trickster Utility 12
With a word and a gesture, what ails you now afflicts another.
Daily * Arcane
Minor Action Ranged 10
Target: One creature
Effect: Choose one condition you have that is ended by a save. End this condition, and apply it to the target. If the target is immune to the condition, it is still ended, but does not affect the target.
Illusory Double Arcane Trickster Attack 20
Where one of you was before, two now surround the enemy.
Daily * Martial, Arcane, Weapon, Illusion, Teleport
Standard Action Melee 1
Target: One creature
Attack: Intelligence vs. Will
Hit: 3[W] + Dexterity modifier damage
Effect: Create an illusory double of yourself adjacent to the target. The illusory double moves and attacks the target, which provides flanking for adjacent allies. As a move action, you can switch places with the double; this counts as a teleport. As a standard action, you can select a new target you are adjacent to; the illusory double seemingly teleports adjacent to the new target. The target can attempt to disbelieve the illusion each time it hits the illusion; use your defenses for the illusion. Success ends the effect.
Sustain Minor: You maintain the illusion, which continues to provide flanking against the current target.
