All PJ needs is the darn academy to get off it's high horse and admit this was the best picture of 2003 and he was the best director.

The sad part is how completely "low horse" the Motion Picture Academy really is (massive popularity contest) and they still won't give "major" oscars to Sci-Fi/Fantasy movies.

Yeah, I think Peter Jackson is writing his own ticket from here on out.

Until his next picture bombs, takes a studio down with it and his name is mud.

Nobody gets a free ride for long in that crazy town....

Oh, I have plenty of faith in ol' PJ. I got a little nervous after seeing TTT in the theatre, but RotK rewarded my faith amply, and I'm looking forward to him taking on the big gorilla.

I'm skeptical about his being able to top the original (maybe the greatest film ever made. Maybe), but I'll turn out to see it for sure.

But if it loses money, nobody's going to remember that $500 million.

But let's not forget that his magician has a Rabbit up his sleave, and that Rabbit's name is Bilbo Baggins (The Hobbit). Of course if he gets the chance to do it and I say it will happen within the next 5 years.
