Limited Wish amd Metamagic Feats

Yup, but as Archer noted, you can't duplicate the Still, Silent spell until you've completed the Verbal and Somatic components required to activate Limited Wish...

Hey just because it's useless doesn't mean you can't do it. ;) The principle still applies at least to the original question.

Keep in mind that Limited Wish automatically Heightens any spell that it replicates to 7th level.

For instance, if Limited Wish was used to replicate a Fireball, the save DC would be 17 + ability/feat/class modifers rather than 13 + ability/feat/class modifiers.

*Every* spell Limited Wish replicates is treated this way. For this reason, I don't think you should be able to add metamagic on top of it as it would exceed the 6th level limit.

IMO,

Limited Wish should be errated to say 'duplicate any spell slot below...'

If you don't have the feat then it should count as spell not on your spell list; e.g. not on the Sorcer/Wizard list.

I'll second the idea that limited wish can replicate ANY spell, even metamagic'd ones, as long as it doesn't exceed the spell level allowance. After all:

"A limited wish lets the character create nearly any type of effect."

No reason a Wizard couldn't cast Limited Wish to create a maximized Fireball (assuming it's not a prohibited spell). It's going to cost you 300 XP!

Limited Wish is a damn powerful spell, after all.
