Huh. You know, now that I read the MM spell I guess I have to agree with Lord Pendragon. It merely says that the dart springs forth from the caster's hand to unerringly strike the target. It doesn't say anything about going around things to get to the target. We've pretty much always played that a MM would "weave" as need be to avoid things that might get in its way... but I can see where it would need a straight line of effect.
