Line of Sight clarifications

I have not understand the 4ed rules about Los, can u assist me?

An ally blocks the LoS or not?
I mean, can a wizard shoot a magic missles through his paladin comrade, assuming they are in a 1 sq. corridor, to hit a kobold in front of the paladin?

And an enemy blocks a Pc's LoS or not? And if doesn't block it, it gives cover?

My take:

Neither allies nor enemies block line of sight.

Allies never provide cover.

Enemies provide cover vs. ranged attacks but not vs. meelee or close or area attacks.
