List of known d20 character generators?

Hi -

I'm looking for a listing of known offline (not web-based) character generators.

I already know about PCGen, RPM, Metacreator, e-Tools, DM Genie (and PC Genie), Campaign Suite, and RedBlade, so there's no need to mention them. If you know of others, please post a link to them.

If anyone needs a link to the homepage of those I listed, just ask and I'll post one.

Thanks,

Aaron

There's one I wrote, "Icosahedron", the Visual Basic 6.0 source code of which in theory you should be able to get from my Sims page (also posted here, I think)

http://www.geocities.com/jeremy_reaban/

or...

http://www.geocities.com/jeremy_reaban/icc26src.zip

At the time, I wasn't sure if it was okay to distribute the .exe or not. But now I'm even more confused about WOTC's stance on software. Which is one of the reasons I gave up on it...

If you're really really curious, lmk, and I can put up an .exe

It's not really complete, mostly does level/class, hit points, and skill points. And some feats.

Started work on the equipment section, but I think that's when I gave up. I did release the code as open content, so anyone can fiddle with it if they want.

No need for an executable for my benefit - I have VB6. Other people might want it, so base it off their requests to decide if it's worth your time.

Many thanks!

Hero forge

I only have 1 problem with Hero Forge...They do not have alot of races..ie...you can't do a Gold Dwarf, or a Draconic, or half-dragon. I have yet to find a complete one, but Hero Forge is the best I found

Is there a way to edit/add to the Hero Forge?

I too want more Races and to add some class changes(house rules)
There should be a major update to HeroForge soon... Well, 3-6 weeks anyway. As per Shannon Green's Website. http://home.san.rr.com/blackbart/

But you could also, while you are waiting, go into:
Format
Sheet
Unhide...

And open any sheet you like, and change to your heart's content.

Yep, I did just this with the 3.0 version, adding quite a few races and templates. But fair warning: if you don't know anything about programming VBA, you'll have some trouble. Rather than create new, it might be easier to simply modify an existing race - just be sure to replace the old name with the new one in a lot of places, and don't accidentally overwrite any formulas!
