La Maudite Biere and La Fin Du Monde... (That Damn Beer, and the End of the World) Now -that- is beer.

Damn! I wish I could be there. Although I'm not sure about Fin du Monde....kinda tastes like butt. Maudite is better, but only a little.

My vote would be for Big Rock Traditional Ale out of Calgary, but good luck finding some at the Beer Store that isn't skunky.

Well, since I can't be there (stupid MSc thesis), good drinking and good gaming!

I think Molson Special Dry is a perfectly good beer, as is Labatt's Genune Draft.

Canadian Big Breweries can make surprisingly non-pisswater beers compared to our southern neighbours :)

If you wanted to go for a smaller Brewery, I would suggest Moosehead

Hey, T.B., you just listed three of my top 5 beers... along with Keith's and Sleeman's Cream Ale, you about have my daily diet covered. :)

Already bought:
12 Maudites (Unibroue)
12 Fin du Mondes (Unibroue)
6 Don de Dieus (Unibroue)
4 Ephemeres (Unibroue)
6 Boreale Rousses (Brasseurs du Nord)

4 boxes of maple cookies
1 tin of poutine gravy
3 packages of cheese curds

Still to go: more beer (Molson Canadian most likely- all this microbrewery stuff is expensive!), all-seasoned potato chips

Still waiting to hear from: other Canuck publishers as to their specific contributions (cash will do fine... just called US Customs, we can bring in as much beer as we like, we'll just have to pay duty on it)

Just heard from Fiery Dragon, who will be sponsoring some MooseHead beer!
Huzzah!
I picked up 24 Molson Canadian and some all-dressed potato chips and some dill pickle chips this morning, and will grab some other distinctly Canuck beers this evening or tomorrow morning.

Come drop by Fiery Dragon's (#243) booth or Red Shirt Games or ENPublishing/Twin Rose (#2045) to get your free Canuck sticker that will get you entrance into the Suite for free snacks and give-aways!

If you want REAL beer from a canadian brewer, take down some Alley Kat. Though generally I find average beer drinkers can't handle beer that actually has flavour, so who knows what would happen if an american tried some...:D

a little disappointed

We had to bring home 12 beers with us that weren't consumer (and that was after leaving over a dozen with Chris and Dee from Twin Rose!)
But I was very pleased at the attendance, thanks everyone for dropping by and risking high cholesterol with the poutine!

Great fun!

The FDP boys (and girl) were only able to pop in for a bit, with our wacky schedule, but it was really nice to see so many people in the suite (and the hall, and the elevator...!) :)

I just loved Teflon Billy's airport story. Highlight of the day! :)
