They'll probably age them a few years, so we're talking more teens then children. Even if they dont, we're still talking Tweens and teens and not really little kids. (Toph's the youngest of the regular cast at 11)

But yes, the martial arts aspects would require work to feel right and I'm not sure you could find enough talented youngsters who not only can do it, but also ACT.
