Well, I guess veteren Greyhawkers like ourselves don't need that product then .

While on the subject, would you find it useful to buy ESD's like From the Ashes, Greyhawk Wars, or some fo the 2e works? I was out of action for a many years and didn't buy those.

I don't use tons of the Sargent material in my games: like a dim sum buffet, I pick and choose what I like best, leaving the rest behind....

I believe the D&D Gazeteer was intended to serve two functions:

• A simple campaign refernce for players not wishing all the information of the LGG
• A reduced reference for DMs who really didn't want all the detail of the LGG, because they'd suffered major head trauma.

Seriously, I think it was meant to provide a less intimidating piece of reference, but ending up satisfying no one.

I think it was just "D&D world Lite", but then the Iconic Novels use some other land, so I don't know what that's about...

Oh? They're not set in Greyhawk? I hadn't realized that, but then I also haven't looked at them really, either
