Calm down Meepo (Kobolds). I was just looking at your picture and trying to make a joke man. Some people get so angry over the smallest things. Lapdog? All I can say is woof woof LOL!

This from someone that posted "Øder tis moodle in der noggin tu smacken der ouchey und vinger-slingers ur to smacken-backen und fix de morkin, yøobetcha!

Børk børk børk!" in another thread? :p

They were talking about whether "Svirfneblin" sounded Swedish or not, I figured everyone's favorite chef needed to make a comment :)

I am calm. But you have to admit, Gene's post didn't make any sense :)

Yes, it was that wonder of idioms that has entertained since the dawn of time...

....the inside joke!

;)

As some may recall a series of awful Greyhawk threads starring yours truly with me usually being "the guy who never shuts up about Greyhawk" that would explain the use of the shark being baited by chum (or shark bait) of a Greyhawk thread.

Sorry for the confusion, good kobold, er, I mean mini-lizardman.

Okay...this is what I said under the other Living Greyhawk Gazetter thread:

Buy the Living Greyhawk Gazeeter.

It will have everything you need to know about what happened between CY 576 to CY 591.

DON'T buy the D&D Gazeeter. The 1983 boxed set has more general information than that product does.

However, it also depends on how much you wish to alter things in Greyhawk. If you make Greyhawk "your own" world and barely rely on published material, don't by either. Yet if you wish to stick strictly to Greyhawk "canon" then by all means, buy the Living Greyhawk Gazetter.

The LGG gives a lot of background information to the various regions of the Flanaess. And yet it leaves room for the DM to customize it, just the way I like it...and just the way the 1983 set does.

I hope that helps.

LGG is a really great book, it's just full of information, plot hook, little ideas,
Yep I totally agree with that, LGG is a great GH book! :)

and has a great map.
 ?!?!?!?! I totally disagree with this point. The maps in both products, which IIRC are identical, are IMO subpar, and not well done. Once again IMO.

Buy the LGG
Yes I agree you on this point as well! It is a must. But use the maps from the '83 boxed set. Those are what campaign maps are supposed to be IMO.
