LN Paladin of St Cuthbert

Thurbane

First Post
Looking for inspiration for an NPC in my campaign. I want a paladin-type character, but strongly dedicated to the cause of Law.

My first thought is a LN knight/cleric (human) follower of St Cuthbert - just wondering of any good PrCs to throw into the mix.

All thoughts welcome - T

Well, if you have access to Dragon #310, there are paladin variants of all alignments, including LN. You could start there. (I know it's not the exact question you asked, but I figured I'd throw it out there.)

Pious Templar from Complete Divine allows you to gain paladin spellcasting without losing out on BAB. Divine Crusader (also from Complete Divine) grants you access to all the spells in the Law domain, but only gives medium BAB.

The Law Devotion feat from Complete Champion is also very nice.

Grey Guard from Complete Champion, if you go say Cleric 3/Paladin 2, and use the prestige class to advance Cleric Spellcasting while getting full BAB.

Edit: D'oh! Forgot the LN part.

Um...Judge Dredd! :)

Thanks for the replies. I think I'll go for Knight 7/Divine Crusader X, Cleric 3/Knight 4/Hospitaler X, or Knight 7/Pious Templar X.

You might try the Bone Knight from Five Nations (Eberron). Creepy yet very lawful. Alternately, the prestige class for House Deneith or that for House Tharashk in Dragonmarked(bodyguard & bounty-hunter types respectively, though I can't remeber either's name) are good for lawful types.

Of course, mentioning St Cuthbert suggests you might not be using Eberron material either.
