A bulbous plant with black thorny fronds enters the arena and moves to 60N110E. The plant is as big as the myconid and has a large black flower that glows a faint red.

Myko recognizes this plant as a lavabriar. He knows that it has all the plant traits (like him), and it is immune to fire and vulnerable to cold. The other myconids have told him about it, but he has never seen one up close.
