Ned begins to get the idea that this thing is smarter than the average wall. He flies to 10N 50E 30Z, then moves the Flaming Sphere to 25N 90E.
[Does Ned know if this thing has a mind or would be affected by Deep Slumber?]
Ned suspects this thing is smarter than the elementals that his buddies would summon back at the Necropolis School of Magic. But he is not an expert on elementals or outsiders.
Ned remembers some sort of old saying about "the walls have brains"...though he was never much for old sayings. He glides to 70N 55E 30Z and sees if walls enjoy Magic Missiles. Assuming the wall doesn't come tumbling down, he'll use Lightning Bolt the following round.
Rusty moves into the arena and takes off into the air, flying to 60N55E20Z, readying to breathe on any opponent that moves into range. Rusty is about 6ft long, no including the reddish-yellow colored tail, with a wingspan of over 15ft fully stretched. In actuality, Rusty looks more like a modified reddish-yellow dire vulture than a dragon.
OOC: If I have to ready a specific breath weapon, it would be the line of acid. Fat lot o' good Improved Initiative is in these combats.
A large bear-like creature walks upright to 55N90E. It wears half-plate armor and claws of steel, Wolverine-style. It also gets blasted by a line of acid.
It fails to dodge out of the way and takes 11 points of damage. It has 41 hp left.
Rusty goes first in round 274 and can breathe again that round.
