A tall, thin humanoid comes in the arena. He has sharp features, yellow eyes, and a grave expression. He has a composite longbow in his hands and a scabbard at his side. He is unarmored.

He enters at 0N0E and appears to concentrate, but there is nothing to indicate that anything has happened.

Is the man wearing any armor?

A 3 foot tall, upright walking, marsh green tree frog enters the arena at 115N115E. He has bright red skin covering his head and back. He has no armor but he carries a longspear which he immediately drops. With expert-like speed, he readies his longbow, scrapes an arrow along his back, and fires.

The o'bati rolled a 21 (23-2 for long range), striking the githzerai for 6 points of damage. The githzerai is at -1 hit points and is dying. Any other effect of the arrow is immaterial.

The o'bati enters the Hall of Fame (most 1-round victories).

I hope I have a longer run the next time I am in charge of a combat.

The frog man does the back maneuver and fires. Zennie dodges the arrow. (Rolled 12-2 for long range = 10)

Froggie says something that Zennie doesn't understand (probably a taunt). He heard "Ribbit" in there somewhere.
