I just dropped by the Privateer Press page and they have a sneak peek up for the supplement... In a word this book looks "Sweet!"

I mean the cover art and map will be worth the price alone!!!

It is supposed to be out right after Christmas... and I cannot wait to get my hands on it...

Can't wait. Love the art (everyone seems to wear goggles except mages) and setting (techie techie techie). Now just combine Arsenal with IK and I'd be in heaven.

I dont know about the rest of you, but Iron Kingdoms is turning out to be one of the best fantasy settings IMHO

Agreed. For some reason I have an affinity for 'Gobbers,' even though if they were just normal Goblins in anyo ther setting I wouldn't be. They remind me of Jawas.

Gobbers are great as NPCs or even player characters. I have a steamjack NPC for my group that has an imprisoned soul inside it which makes him more personable.

One of my Sorcerors has a Gremlin as a familiar.... so the group dynamic is whacky enough.

All in all it is a great setting and my players love it, right now one of my players who is a pistoleer is being stalked by a pistol wraith who wants to challenge him.

The players are stuck in a ghost town looking for parts to get their steamjack running again while being chased by the pistol wraith (the gremlin had a little fun after the steamjack insulted him), so its about this part where the wraith will catch up to him and start a duel, the players know that the PC fighter Ashlocke cant take the wraith alone so while 3 gobbers that are traveling with the PCs are look for parts, the rest of the PCs with the exception of 1 (helping the gobbers) are planning to ambush the pistol wraith.
