Log in question

Ok. This seems odd to me. My username and password seem to work fine here on the messageboards. However, I'm trying to log in on the main page and it tells me my password is wrong. And logging in on the main page is important because I want to add my crappy little website to the list of websites hosting an ENWorld ticker.

Any advice? Any solutions? Anyone else run into this problem?

Did you register specifically on the main page? IIRC, the log-in data from either won't work for the other, because they are considered indepenedant entities concerning the log-ins; so you would need to register twice.

Hm. That might be it, except the main page won't let me register my message board user name.

Ok. This morning, it worked. I can't explain it.

Of course, I tried to add my webpage to the links of sites supporting the news ticker and I get a no authorization for this function message.

<sigh>

I'm hoping it's just because my main page user name is new. I'll try again on Monday.
