Apparently it's not an uncommon practice :)

A friend of mine knows a bunch of guys in Scotland who nabbed a gnome from someone's yard about nine years ago... I think they're still sending photos of the gnome to the address from assorted locations around the world...

this is not of my doing. altho i am tempted to send the person who did it a few pics of ceramic gnomes and bells :)

Gnome-napping is not a uncommon pastime. Sometime ago on the boards someone posted an news artical where they found a few hundred of them set up in the woods. :)

But I blame alsih2o.
