Long Live the Queen (all groups) [Boddynock judging] Completed

The group continues down the tunnel ahead with Jallembo scouting in front.
The tunnel makes several bends and after the third, it opens into a large cavern. Coming from the cavern you hear several vague sounds, pobably made by more ants.
As Jallembo peers into the darkness he suddenly realizes that a number of ans are coming his way fast!

Initiative! I won't bother rolling for initiative, since it would delay too much.
Jallembo is first (since he is the only one aware) after that the ants go and after that the rest.
Jallembo is peeking around a corner from a tunnel leading into a larger cave. At least two ants are coming his way fast.

Jallembo signals the approaching ants to his comrades, pulls on the string of his shortbow to let an arrow fly. Unfortunately, it misses the nearest ant by at least one foot.

Jallembo doesn't hesitate and retreats to safety behind the frontline. "Two of them. Coming fast!"

Jallembo's attack misses the two ants that are coming for him.
They round the corner and both attack him.
The first one misses him but the second one grabs him with his mandables. The two jaws crunch him like a vice. At the same time it brings around a nasty looking stinger with which it injects poor Jallmbo with a substance that burns his to the points where he passes out.

ooc: Jellambo get's grabbed, sting and injected with acid, recieving 14 damage in the process.

OOC: Assuming that the Bless has worn off by now since we traveled a ways into the tunnels...

Saithnar sights down his crossbow and fires an arrow at the ant holding Jallembo. His accuracy leaves something to be desired though and the shot flies wide...
Firing crossbow into melee (1d20+2-4=9, 1d8=4)

Quint fires low again but he doesn't get a strong pull on his bow before releasing his shot. The arrow flies true but barely sticks in the shell of the ant holding Jallembo.
Longbow shot into melee (1d20+5-4=19, 1d6=1)
 

ooc: Is it possible for me to rush the ant and grapple Jallembo away from the ant? I'm pretty positive an attack vs it would have a 50% chance to hit Jallembo, which I don't want to risk. Would it just be a touch attack to join grapple and opposed grapple to take Jallembo away?

ooc: you do know you have a 50% chance of hitting Jallembo? this only applies to ranged attacks, not melee attacks..

The ant is still grappling Jallembo so you can't just rush in and grab him from the ant. It would require two succesfull grapple checks.

Well, for Saithnar it won't matter, because he's not hitting anything. I guess switch Quint's attack to the other ant so he doesn't risk hitting Jallembo.
