That's really cool, actually. I played soccer in high school, as well as being a band geek. My girlfriend was a (competitive) cheerleader and a band geek. Now, we're both just dorks.

Though, she still runs every once in a while and I'm just lazy.

Adding the "competitive" part is actually quite important. I too was a competitive cheerleader- I was never much of the "rah-rah" type

Yeah, definitely. My middle school was so small that any girl who wanted to be a cheerleader was a cheerleader. Once you get into competitive cheerleading, it's a whole different ball gamesport.

I don't know a lot about it myself, except that it's much more difficult.
