Looking for 25mm Fantasy miniatures

dagger

Adventurer
Here is the kicker, I would like them to be really cheap , plastic, AND prepainted, but I know that is not going to happen. So I would be happy with cheap and unpainted figs so I can build a medium sized mercenary force that my high level PC commands.

They miniatures don’t have to be that special looking just represent dwarves, humans, and elves reasonably well.

Any such thing out there? Am I asking too much? I have done some searching and found very little....

I have thought about using counters, and they might work, but Id rather do the figs.

I have a pretty big pile of some old 25 mm figs. They are metal and pretty plain. Some are painted.

I would let you have them for pretty cheap. Because they are metal the shipping cost might be a bit.

If you are interested, when I get hom I can dig out the boxes and give you a more detailed list inventory.

2 years ago I used them in a D&D campaign - to simulate a large battle - with PC as unit commanders- using the Ral Partha Battlestorm rules.

Let me know

Its just they are going to be mostly random packs, I had planned on buying some but more for the monsters. We shall see....

Cheap and unpainted just screams "Fortress Figures" to me. I've got a bunch of them to use as generic fodder on the table. 10 figures for $10, and you can often find them on ebay even cheaper.

Here are the dwarves

Here are the elves

Hope that helps

I have 3 LGS' that I frequent in the South Bay area that sell individual Mage Knight and Hero Click figures from 50 Cents each & up ( One had a selection of dozens and dozens for $1/each) . I anticipate the same thing happening for these figures too, so I'll probably be able to pick up some good humanoid troops this way.

Accually the are suposted to be out end of next month. If you are looking to start a collection of minis, then random is not a bad thing, IMO.
