Looking for a 1st Level dungeon crawl

This is my first contribution on the forum.

First, let congratulate you to me for this usefull site, and all the job done!

I need a module to train me DMing.
My players are veterans, and I want to run 2 to 3 sessions play (5-6 hours each).
It must be an introctionary adventure (1st level).
That's why I think of a dungeon crawl with some roleplaying.
I own a copy of the Sunless Citadel and Death in Freeport. The Citadel can be appropriate, but... What can you also advise me?

Thanks for your advices !

I'm not a great fan of Fast Forward Games' stuff in general, but I thought their OrcFest module wasn't too bad for what you're looking for (with a couple of minor issues). Here's a link to the three reviews on the product:

Hope that helps.

The Sunless Citadel could be fine, or else Evil Unearthed in Dungeon issue 82 is good.
Other alternatives are Necromancer Games Wizards Amulet/Crucible of Freya, though to play through both might well take longer than the time you've mentioned.

Heh ! many answers yet ! Thanks.

I want to add that i need to train my understanding of the rules before runing a Midnight Campaign.
So, if this adventure can be easily tuned for this setting, it will be nice.

More anwers welcome :)

No no no!

Allow me to be the voice of reason here.

For DM training, I would recommend the Hamlet of Thumble, but I don't think that's a dungeon crawl.

And so I fall back on another ENworld favorite: Of Sound Mind.

Great adventure, dungeon-crawly, plenty of opportunity to think and roleplay, and best of all, the author is ENworld's own Piratecat-- so you can get help and feedback direct from the author right here.
