Looking for a blog for an RPG calendar

I'm looking for blog software that I can use to run a fantasy blog. Basically, I want to post news and rumors in blog format and have the dates be my fantasy calendar. I am using WordPress to keep track of everything related to my homebrew, and that works great, but I can't seem to configure what it uses for dates.

Anyone have any suggestions?

We use a Wiki (PhpWiki to be exact) to hold game notes, world information etc. We have 2 calendars one is the real world calendar where we can keep track of who is available to play. the other one is a game events calendar where we can keep track of events that have happened by date.

In order to fit in with our gameworld I ended up re-writing the calendar plugin to cope with dates outside the standard 1970-2038 calendar. Fortunately our game world uses a 7 days a week, 365 days a year calendar for simplicity, but it would not be difficult to change the plugin for a different calendar. Of course this would depend on how much coding experiance you have and just how complicated your calendar is.
