Looking for a good mid-high level module.

I'm trying to convince my gaming group to get back together by offering to buy a mid-high level module for the DM to run, but I'm not sure which one to get. The one's that I am aware of are

Maure Castle (Dungeon Mag)
City of the Spider Queen

What other good ones are? Does Dungeon have a lot of stand-alone adventures that are level 10 plus? Any help is appreciated!

Thx,
Mike

If you want a Eygptian themed module, check out Gary Gygax's Necropolis by Necromancer games. Deadly. Somewhat heavy handed in places but a good story arc. 10th level to 18th level

Demon God's Fane by Monte Cook (Malhavoc Press) - 14th Level. Very Good, IMO

Prison of the Firebringer by Rich Baker (Dungeon #101) 13th Level. Excellent module, IMO

Lich Queen Beloved (Dungeon #100) 16th level and up. Another excellent adventure.

Edit: Put in module start levels

We had a lot of fun in Nightfang Spire. That took us to level 15.

I'm running Demon God's Fane right now and later planning on Lord of the Iron Fortress both with modifications for 3.5, 3rd party material additions, and some campaign specific modifications.

The Dungeon modules are all currently 3.5e, including Maure Castle (which is the one I would recommend, of course, since the 1e module it's based one---WG5 Mordenkainen's Fantastic Adventure---is one of my favorites).

I would add my vote to those in favour of Maure Castle (like Grodog, this was one of my favourite 1E modules) and Prison of the Firebringer.

I would, however, recommend against City of the Spider Queen and, more particularly, Necropolis unless the DM has exceptional skills.

I've DMed about half of Castle Maure, and it is kind of boring at times, and the challenges aren't up to par, IMO. The toughest breaks are yet to come, though, but this far it's been a bit boring.
