Looking for a good paladin example (TV/Movie)

Van Helsing is a good example IMO. Holy Warrior defeats monsters and vampires. Can't get more paladin-like than that.
I agree I see him as that but i believe I see him as more of a hunter. I have rolled a worgren hunter named Van Helsing in WoW because he is a werewolf, or, however at least, bitten by Velkan and could shapeshift.

Van Helsing was actually the inspiration for the D&D Cleric. Specifically, Bishop Carr, the first Cleric in Dave Arneson's Blackmoor campaign was based on Peter Cushing's Van Helsing in the Hammer Horror Dracula films.

Dean Winchester from Supernatural. Paladin trough and trough. Yeah, he swears, drinks and womanizes, but underneath all, he has strong moral compass, is willing to sacrifice himself for greater good, has that leader aura, has oath bound devotion to cause (hunting monsters and guarding humanity) even at the price of his life or happiness.

All of these posts, and no Michael Carpenter from the Dresden Files?

He lives, eats, and breathes Holy Warrior. Best example of a Paladin I've ever seen in any source material. Ever.

Slainte,

-Loonook.
Sorry to quote such an old post in an old thread, but I had to make sure people read it. He is not the main protagonist of the books, but I have to agree, best paladin I have ever read.
