D&D 5E Looking for an alien being

Wondering if anyone has a list of Alien beings with names and descriptions beyond whats available in the warlock section? I'm looking to make it a possible antagonist in a campaign and would like some inspiration.

Look up the elder gods of the Cthulhu mythos. There are probably dozens if not hundreds of websites devoted to them.

If you are looking for game statistics for the various creatures, they have existed since 1980 or so in various forms. There is nothing for 5e yet AFAIK, but WotC published a 3.x (sort of between 3.0 and 3.5) d20 Call of Cthulhu book years ago that statted out a bunch of Elder Gods and Great Old ones that should be easy to convert. They also published a 3.5 book called Elder Evils that had a more generic take on the same concept, and its contents should also be useful/easy to convert.

I'd also recommend an article from an early 4e-era Dragon Magazine, if you can find it. I believe it's called Wish Upon a Star... it's about the stars as elder beings who are warlock patrons. Holy crap is it a great article.
