I know, but it's Light armor - I need Medium armor.

Then say "I want this to be medium armor" and poof. Maybe give it a -3 ACP instead of a -2, and there you go. A stiff chain shirt.

Why does it need to be medium instead of light?

Because I have 2 mods to add to the armor, and both of them require it to be Medium.

anyway: my ringmail version is:
Light Armor
Ring Mail 50gp +3 +3 -3 10% full 20

I fluffed it as being an usually elven armor for arcane casters. Made out of mithral it becomes the perfect set of non-magical arcane armor with 0% ASF. ... combined with a mithral buckler a spellcaster would have +4 AC

On a different note (but still relating to armor), if you have 2 abilities/materials/etc. that say "no extra Masterwork component needed; the masterwork cost is included in the price of the X", can you get a discount on one of the abilities/etc., since you don't need the Masterwork component from it? My thought is no, but I'd just like some other opinions.
