I take it you need to register before you can change things like save progression? Then add things in like defense bonus?

File -> Config -> Modern will switch over to the d20 Modern ruleset.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be able to handle Occupations, unless I'm missing something.

PC Gen can also do Modern character generation, but again, no Occupations.

Soldarin, thanks for the link. The spreadsheet is interesting. A little unwieldy, but it does have occupations and the setting-specific advanced classes, which is a definite plus.

I especially appreciate the fact that Excel sheets allow you to make small changes with so little fuss.

Occupations can be found on Campaign Suite under feats once you do the Modern configuration.
Plus, you can add in the campaign specific info by right clicking on classes, and building the PrC...

Ah, thanks for the correction Warlord. The Occupations don't appear until you select a class, as it turns out. Noticed a minor bug where you get too many skill points (they probably forgot that the Modern classes already take the human skill bonus into account), and CS doesn't seem to be able to handle psionics, but otherwise it looks like a nice piece of software.

On the feats page, scroll down the drop-down list above pickable feats to "Ocupations".

Yes, you can change the level progress. Yes, defence bonus is included, though labelled "Armor Class" on the default sheet, it is DEF on statblock exports.
