Sword of Spirit
Legend
I'm running a campaign* that leaves with me with plenty of space to throw generic adventures in. The ability to travel all over and experience all sorts of D&D experiences (rather than being tied to an individual storyline or theme) is part of the point of this campaign. As such, dropping in more or less random adventures is something that works really well for this campaign, along with the adventures that I design myself.
I have a bunch of (legitimately) downloaded TSR and WotC adventures from back when they had a large download section, and many of them are likely to come in handy. But at the moment I'm finding nothing fits my first level characters. I've looked a bit online, but the majority of adventures I'm running into seem to have pretty tightly integrated lore. Either they are set on a unique world, or they assume some pretty big details about what happened in this area of the world. As such, they aren't always very useful for me. I don't expect this issue to go away as I seek higher level adventures.
Does anyone know of any sorts of generic adventures that one could drop into pretty much any appropriate area such as "rural village", "urban environment," "forest hamlet," etc?
Also, is there anyone making collections of adventures (not adventure paths) in the old Dungeon Magazine style? Those I would be planning on paying for.
*It's 5e, so I can make use of pretty much anything but 4e adventures (although 3e are more trouble to convert on the fly than 1e-2e).
