Looking for Horror supplement/sourcebook

OGL Horror might be a good one stop shop for you then. The Turning the Screw chapter has advice on running horror campaigns - atmosphere, mood etc. Plus you get the Horror saves and madness rules, ability damage based FX etc. And as others have mentioned, you can probably pick it up on the cheap.

And as others have also mentioned, Nightmares of Mine is a great resource as well for this.

Edit: Here's a thread on Mongoose's boards where I did some OGL Horror to d20 Modern conversion:

Using OGL Horror as a d20 Modern Toolkit

I think about picking up OGL Horror but it's 49.90€ on ebay and 36.something€ on dragonworld which is to much atm. Thanks for the advice though, I got something to save my money for now. ^^

So, what did you get?

Well the problem is that there are actually no local gamestores, there's like games workshop but they only have miniatures and Warhammer stuff.
The next gaming store I know is in Hamburg which is way to far, so I have to order over the internet

As for a supplement ... mmm, not for d20Modern. There's OGL Horror, which is a d20 GAME but not d20Modern.
You know, if Gareth is around, I apologize profusely. OGL Horror is probably the best book for your specifications. It has a lot of advice, and the rules use the d20 Modern SRD. There's plenty of good advice about running horror contained inside. The only thing missing is the massive damage rule.

I feel really dumb for ignoring this until now.

You know, the first time I read dork tower I was like "We need a gaming store here.". But I think that's not gonna happen, though there are enough players here.

PS.: crunch or fluff ?

€dit: I just got the HoH and it's fantastic ! It got the advice I was looking for about setting the mood, horrific encounters and the like. With a little adjustment I will introduce the mental conditions to my game (Will saves when encountering monsters, seeing baaad stuff)
I think I will pick up OGL anyway when I got the money, I'm curios. :)
