Looking for lore/secret focused PrCs

Hi all- I'm running a mage who's primary motivation is knowledge for knowledge's sake. He adventures so he can explore ancient ruins, discover lost places and learn about the ancient progenitor races that mysteriously disappeared from the campaign setting eons ago. So when I thought about PrCs, Loremaster seemed like a natural fit, but many of the "secrets" gained seem kind of 'meh'. Then I found the Olin Gisir (from FR's Lost Empires) which is a similar "secret" gaining class. It might be a possibility if I can talk the DM into ignoring the "elf" prerequisite. I also looked at the LoreDelver from Races of Destiny, but that requires even more DM-convincing (to drop the "illumian" pre-req AND allow a non-existant but seemingly very balanced "TrapFinding" feat I could take)

My question is- are there any other lore/secret focused PrCs out there? How about an expanded list of "secrets" for the Loremaster? I could swear I've seen a 'Harper Something' PrC which had a list of "secrets" to learn also- does that sound familiar to anyone?

I'd appreciate any help in my PrC hunting. Thanks!

The Harper Priest has something similar (blessings), but is a divine spellcaster (from Magic of Faerûn).

I was developing a similar character but I only came up with the Loremaster and Lore Delver too.

I don't know if they'd work for your concept but some feats to consider are:

Obscure Lore (C. Adv.)- +4 bonus to Bardic Know. or Lore checks

Trivial Know. (RoS)- Int 13, Gnome: Whenever you make a Know. or Bardic Know. check, roll twice and use the better result

-------
To get access to all Knowledge skills, in case you aren't taking levels in bard:

Ancestral Knowledge (RoS)- Wis 15, Dwarf: make all Know. checks untrained, can use Wis modifier on Know. checks

Able Learner (RoD)- Human/Doppelganger, 1st level only: All skills are “in-class” and only cost 1 point—doesn’t effect learning languages or literacy.

Education (Eberron)- 1st level only: all Know. skills are added to your In-Class Skill list. +1 bonus on two specific Know. skills of your choice.

While not a PRC but an actual base class, the Archivist seems to espouse the concept you are dealing with, albeit from a divine perspective. However, they do even have special abilities that focus on the depth of their Knowledge ranks.

A bit of individual campaign tweaking, and you could make the class work from Arcane/Wizardly perspective, or even from a Druidic perspective, but you would have to make a few Houserules to suit.

The cataclysm mage PrC from the Eberron Explorer's Handbook fits, but it's very campaign specific and IMO it's not a well designed class.
