Looking for "old-school" tattoo ideas!

Yeah, if I ever get a D&D tat, it'd be a d20 that had just rolled a "1". That'd be pretty cool.

But the Flumph, to me, wins the thread. Flumphs rock.

What about the old "Dragon Ampersand" symbol from the 1st edition books? Can't get much more clear, distinct and old school than that!
Remember to place it between any body part that you have two of. The choice of which is up to you.

"Hey, I'm going home to play a solo game of T&T."
"Don't you mean D&D?"
"Nope - check it out!" (zip)
"GOD, MY EYES!"

Bring 3d6 to the tattoo parlor. Right before the artist begins, roll 3d6 six times and keep the stats in order. Choose a race and class. This is your new tattoo.

It doesn't get much more hardcore oldschool than that :-)

I came very close to getting the TSR logo as a tatt at one stage.

My next tatt is going to be Cthulhu.

That's freakin' awesome!

As for the OP, there would be little more iconic than the 1E MM Beholder or Rust Monster! :p

...or maybe A D & D on your knuckles!

Personally, I want the Led Zeppelin IV tattoos. That'd be cool.

I was thinking about it, and the only D&D tattoo I'd really want would be the Lyrandar Least Dragonmark, from Eberron. SOmething cryptic enough that it doesn't scream "D&D" or "nerd", but still has the association.

The Ampersand would be pretty cool, though.

No Copying :)
