I mean, Alchemist's Fire is all nice and well, but it doesn't really do much to a threat a 9th level character faces usually, tho it still could be when used in a creative way. :)

Let me just say that flinging 9 alchemists fires at a Huge white dragon with a wizard that doesn't have Evocation spells is VERY useful. It's more damage to a single target than a fireball and has no SR roll. Though you still have to roll lots of melee touch attacks.

It depends what you think Alchemists Fire is. Some takes on it would say you could make it from pine trees, others that you would need more special ingrediants.

Oh my goodness - that man just saved himself a whopping 120gp. Out of his 20,000gp spending limit. He could pull off the same trick with greatswords instead, except it would work on ANY target, and would cost a bit more to set up, but he'd be able to repeat it without spending any more.

What is the world coming to? Are we all doomed?

Do people get my point yet, or what? Fabricate is not a problem, even if you let people make stuff out of anything. They still buy the components, they still make the check, and when all is said and done, they still only make a minor profit.
