Hello Everyone,
I just joined this group and I'm hoping to get a group together to play in a campaign I've been working on. I have also cross-posted this on several groups on Meetup.com, so please pardon the cross-posting.
The game is a D20 Post-apocalyptic campaign and will be something between survival-horror and an adventure game, with ample opportunity for roleplaying, diplomacy, and action. Think something like Walking Dead meets Fallout and Mad Max. The game runs on the D&D/d20 3/3.5 model.
I've been playing for many years, starting with AD&D in middle school and continuing to 3/3.5 and d20 variants. I'm 28 years old, married, and I'm a Ph.D student of medieval English literature at Fordham University. Ideally, I hope to meet and play with other gamers like myself: friendly, personable, sociable, and mature. The friends I played with in high school have moved quite a distance away and we rarely get to play. I hope to change that!
As far as scheduling goes, I'd like to meet once or twice a month or more if our schedules permit, and I'd prefer to meet in the lower Westchester area, if that is convenient for everyone.
