looking for spell

is there a spell that gives obscure information about a place/past/future/event? i want to give my player obscure information about something through visions or something like that. he won't cast it on himself, he is going to have these visions from time to time

Sounds like most Divination spells.

One I can think of off the top of my head is Augury or it's older brother? It says Target: You, but you could always alter it so it just happens from time to time whenever you think it's plot-important.

Another one similar to what you want that I can recall is Dream. Doesn't do exactly what you're talking about, but again fluff can always be re-skinned -- and you can say "this just happens" whenever you feel is appropriate.

There's also the vision spell, which is like legend lore, but faster to cast and costs xp.

Nope...I disabled xp and I could still give it to Broke.
