Looking for the Magic Blunt!

HellHound

ENnies winner and NOT Scrappy Doo
So, we were fighting the Githyanki Lich Queen on the weekend..

SPOILER ALERT

She's got Damage Resistance / Magic Blunt

Now...

I've found the magic pipeweed, even made a magic spliff... but we still haven't managed to wrangle up a magic blunt! Perhaps I need to spend more time in Nyew Yhork.

:D

I knew a guy in college with the craft magic doobie feat and he crafted a number of numbers that could have penetrated the lich queen's resistance.

By the way...was this the conclusion to an Invasion campaign?

A shorter (4-level) version of an Invasion, yes.

We're in an Oathbound campaign, and one night when DM-block was hanging on really tight, the game shifted to another plane for a fun module the DM had.

But you see, you CAN'T swap from plane to plane in Oathbound.

So, the return trip managed to tear a hole in the planar boundry of the Forge, and through this hole the githyanki started moving onto the Forge. The ensuing battles were interesting and a nice way to swap out a few major and minor NPCs in the game world (replaced, assassinated, or just plain killed off by the Githyanki).

After a few good fights, adn the players teaming up with the Paladin blood lord against the incursion, contact was made by the Shassal' Khou. And now the Lich Queen is HISTORY.

Seriously this time:

I'm editing part of a book with creatures with just this kind of DR...

Should I rephrase it to

DR X / Blunt Magic or leave it as DR X / Magic Blunt?

For that matter...

DR X / Adamantine Magic or DR X / Magic Adamantine

I'm going with X / Magic Adamantine and X / Magic Blunt, but the / Magic Blunt seems to raise too many snickers.
